I wore the hat of a Backend Java Developer in this role, working alongside a talented team dedicated to advancing the organization's Intelligent Document Processing Product. Over a span of 2.5 years, I actively contributed to the development of diverse features, leveraging technologies such as Spring Boot, Message Queuing Systems, Orchestrators, and both Relational and Non-Relational Databases. Some highlights from my journey include:
- To streamline large-scale document processing across diverse storage platforms, my team and I devised a sophisticated feature. This functionality intelligently identifies documents slated for processing, executing efficient document extraction. Leveraging advanced algorithms and priority queues, we optimized system performance by balancing workloads and prioritizing document batches for each customer.
- To enhance user experience and security, the implementation of the Single Sign-On (SSO) feature was pivotal in addressing customer challenges associated with managing diverse credentials across various services. Utilizing Spring Security SAML, our team developed a key feature, seamlessly integrating third-party Identity Provider (IdP) support into our product. Enforcing the SAML 2.0 protocol empowered customers to log in to our platform using their IdP for secure authentication.
- For the task of Document Classification, while leveraging Machine Learning for nuanced document distinctions, we identified a common need among customers for classifying highly similar documents without extensive ML processing. To optimize efficiency with minimal processing, I introduced a novel heuristic-based classification, guaranteeing 100% accuracy in the task.

As the sole developer for a full-stack Face Registration Application, I led the project by implementing emerging Machine Learning technologies identified through an extensive literature survey on multiple research papers. Utilizing Python and sqllite3, I crafted an intuitive interface with robust functionality, incorporating state-of-the-art face detection algorithms for optimal performance. Additionally, I introduced a novel image filter, assessing mathematical qualities such as noise, illumination, and contrast levels, ensuring a sophisticated user experience.
